Stickbulb announces an exclusive collaboration with The Future Perfect

November 15, 2017

(US) – Founded in 2003 by David Alhadeff, The Future Perfect is one of the world’s foremost contemporary design galleries. Showcasing studio-created works alongside limited edition pieces, Alhadeff has garnered international renown for his strong curatorial focus and representation of unique design. With galleries in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles, Stickbulb joins this roster of notable designers.

Stickbulb will be showing its Boom collection, made from and inspired by destroyed buildings, Boom is a chandelier series that features cast-brass joints and linear wooden bulbs to create forms of exploding light. The expressive form of the lamp is achieved with minimal elements. At its centre is a singularity of cast-brass joints, elegantly curved to dramatically reflect the geometry of the fixture. Linear wooden bulbs in varying lengths cantilever from the brass core, each one emitting a line of even light in a different direction. The result is an explosion of richly textured wood that casts dynamic patterns of light and shadow.
