Tom Raffield wins four gold stars at Chelsea Flower Show

(UK) Tom Raffield won four gold stars from the RHS for its exhibitor stand for excellence of presentation at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. The exhibitor stand was in fact the studio’s new steam-bent Gwenver Garden Room, which made its debut at the show and featured a curated range of handcrafted furniture and lighting from Tom Raffield.

The world’s most prestigious garden event was the perfect place to launch the Gwenver Garden Room; a place that invites the outdoors in, calls for a moment to relax and be inspired by nature.

Visitors were able to catch a glimpse of more than 80 of sculptural pendant lights suspended in the canopy of the Artisan Retreat area – an immersive installation celebrating the skills and traditional manufacturing techniques employed by Tom and the team of craftsmen.

The studio’s Iconic Skipper lights were also featured in some of Chelsea Flower Show’s most visited areas; Skipper Floor Lights illuminated the Ranelagh restaurant for the show’s prestigious Gala Dinner, while the Skipper Pendant Lights were hung in the show’s main Great Pavilion and in Blue Forest’s luxury treehouses.

Tom Raffield says: “A long with our immersive lighting installation and illuminating some of Chelsea Flower Show’s most prominent areas, our activity at RHS Chelsea Flower Show continues what has been an incredibly exciting 12 months at Tom Raffield.”
