Following the controlled opening of exhibitions in central and southern China, Beijing is set to host a number of trade shows from September to the end of the year, including IOSE China, CHITEC 2020, INFOCOMM ASIA, FBC 2020 and many more. As a premium platform for international brands to gain visibility in China, Design China Beijing has always attracted leading design brands from all around the world. This year’s exhibitors include Walter Knoll, Zieta, Gufram, Abet Laminati, NychairX, Lange production, Modernista, YOHJI YAMAMOTO, Humanscale, Shaw Contract, Kinnarps, Flokk, Interstuhl as well as Chinese brands Xue Design and Thrudesign. The show also added curated and thematic sections including Material x Design, Casa Casa Home, Luxury Residential Homes, Kids at home and Future Shop, to present boutique brands and to showcase the industry trends and brand transformation after the pandemic.

Design Shanghai, the region’s biggest design extravaganza, is set to take place from 26 to 29 November at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre. Since successfully hosting the Xintiandi Design Festival in late May to June, a full range of Design In The City pop-up events, In The City Talks and various creative projects are set to run through the remained year.
