According to Art et Floritude, it was Louis XV’s wife, Marie Leszcynska, who first popularised this style of floral decorative lighting in France, creating a public appetite that continues today. Many of the company’s collections reproduce or are inspired by 18th century pieces, with the regular addition of more modern decorative pieces. Applique Nymphea is a composition of five Nymphea sconces – each 20cm in diameter – connected  by a network of porcelain branches.
