Eclipse - Astro Lighting
As showcased at BDNY this year, Astro Lighting's Eclipse wall light appears to float on the surface, producing a soft glow that blends into its surroundings. As featured in Kimpton de Witt on page 16, the light fixtures is available as a smooth disc or square, this plaster light brings an elegant atmosphere to any interior.
Cantina Sonneman - A Way of Light
A flask-like flat oval glass profile rotates randomly creating an asymmetric relationship to its surroundings. A single point source of LED illumination within the void of the larger glass volume creates a special aesthetic tension of scales. Cantina is an object of kinetic art that can be hung individually, in multiples or with spreaders.
Custom Chandeliers - Sapphire
A custom contemporary chandelier comprised of smooth glass balls and six rows of decorative jewellery chain elements in a blackened nickel finish. The centre is open with a frosted acrylic bottom diffuser. This chandelier is 3ft x 3ft but can be customised to a variety of different dimensions.
ARCHITECT@WORK 2018 announces speaker list and final exhibitors
(UK) - An impressive list of industry experts from architecture, development and the arts are set to share their knowledge at ARCHITECT@WORK, alongside stands from 100 leading international architectural product suppliers. The London edition of the two-day event, aimed at architects, designers and specifiers is in its sixth year and is being held at Olympia National Hall on 24th and 25th January.
Both days are free for registered trade visitors and offers complimentary catering throughout the event, encouraging networking and downtime as well as deal-making.
This year’s theme is light - everything from practical applications to more artistic endeavours related to light will be high on the agenda of the talks program. Other show features include exhibitions by the SCIN Gallery, DAPh and World-architects.com, and RIBA’s Pop-Up Book Shop for Architects and Designers
ARCHITECT@WORK has commissioned UK-based Tack Press to produce a series of filmed interviews with some of the architects, designers and engineers who will be speaking. The @Work film series will be available online prior to the show and be broadcast on site.
