Design Helsinki to go ahead this August
(Finland) – Launching 24-25 August, Design Helsinki is Finland’s first international B2B fair dedicated to contemporary design. With support from the Alvar Aalto Foundation, Habitare and Design Museum Helsinki, the event is set to become an annual fixture on the international design calendar.
The two-day fair will bring the city centre to life under the summer sun with festivities to match. Immersive installations will line the streets, a curated international pavilion will showcase sought-after brands and the latest products, local design showrooms will open their doors for a series of events and to present their latest collections. Food and drink partners will offer a variety of discounts whilst topical talks will highlight the industry’s most pressing issues.
