J. Adams & Co. presents new collection Vector
(UK) – British lighting brand J. Adams & Co. present Vector, a new collection of textural brass interior lighting.
A directional design, Vector is a cylindrical experimentation which sees J. Adams & Co. continue to develop the applied use and linearity of reeded machined solid brass tubes. Angled cuts reveal elliptical openings, acting as a ‘eyelid’ to an exposed opal glass globe nested inside, and casting an up and downward ambient light.
Exploring the idea of mobile-like structures suspended from static rods, the multi-armed Vector Pendant and Floor Lamp are engaging from every angle. Adjustable heads are designed to be positioned as desired where illumination is needed; whilst the Vector Wall Light can be fixed vertically or horizontally to provide glare-free and indirect lighting.
With statement graphic qualities and a balanced form, Vector’s modern silhouette is elevated by its antique brass or bronze finish, which lends a mid-century inspired aesthetic.
