(Italy) – Lodes launches its first showroom during Fuorisalone at Milan Design Week 2022.
Contemporary Italian lighting brand, Lodes, opened its first permanent showroom as part of Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week in June 2022. The showroom is set within a prestigious building on Via della Moscova 33. Characterised by quintessential Venetian terrazzo flooring in combination with clean lines and a minimal colour scheme, the showroom embodies the DNA at the core of the Italian brand, whilst creating a calming environment for customers to view and interact with the lighting products.
Not only will it serve as a showroom, but it will also serve as a creative hub for architects and designers, end consumers, and industry professionals to meet and connect. Set across two levels, the showroom hosts Lodes’ wide range of products on the ground floor and an intimate seating area on the mezzanine.
Lodes Managing Director Massimiliano Tosetto comments, “Our first showroom in Milan is a testament to the company’s new vision. This space is not just a showcase of Lodes products, but also a source of ideas, creativity, and inspiration for our clients. I am thrilled this has come to fruition at such an important time in the industry’s design calendar.”
The lighting collections on display include Volum by Snøhetta, Flar by Patrick Norguet, IVY by Vittorio Massimo, Easy Peasy, Croma and Jefferson by Luca Nichetto, Random and Random Solo by Chia-Ying Lee, as well as items from the Diesel Living with Lodes line, such as the recently launched ROD and Spring.
Following the opening, the new showroom will see Lodes host an inspiring series of events, product launches, and workshops for the design community of Milan. Meanwhile, the company continues to grow its retail network and e-commerce offering, whilst expanding its contract markets in Continental Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, North America, and Asia. Following the success of the company’s major rebrand in 2020, the Milan showroom opening represents a significant milestone in its 70-plus-year history. This key moment marks a new chapter for the brand, allowing it to offer a physical experience to its customers in a bespoke space that is truly Lodes. In turn, the companies’ latest novelties are set to close in 2022 with a turnover of 24 million euros.
