WantedDesign 2018 to celebrate its 8th edition

(US) – Celebrating its 8th edition this May WantedDesign 2018 offers a host of new programs and speakers during NYCxDESIGN.

Taking place May 19-22, at its two original venues, Manhattan’s Terminal Stores Building and Brooklyn’s Industry city. WantedDesign Manhattan will present the fifth anniversary of Launch Pad, a platform for up-and-coming designers; Look Book, a showcase of high-end design aimed at the A&D community presented with Modern; international exhibitions from Finland, Turkey, Colombia and more; the Rado Star Prize; the 4th American Design Honors; a conversation series in partnership with Design Milk and Modenus; and Wanted Interiors, a modern presentation of products designed by local interior design students with Flos, Alpi and more.

The WantedDesign Brooklyn exhibitions will be joined by a series of campus-wide events, art installations, workshops and additional opportunities to explore the innovators and makers working at Industry City as we expand to present the IC Design Festival by WantedDesign. WantedDesign Brooklyn will include Oui Design’s 3rd edition, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, a Carolien Niebling installation, presented by swissnex in New York and the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York, and a larger presence of Design Schools through exhibitions and the Design Schools Workshop.
